The composition of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation on the proposal of the Chairman of the Commission.
Currently, the Commission consists of 117 people: heads of relevant Russian ministries and departments and prominent figures of education, science, culture, and journalism who share the high ideals and values of UNESCO and contribute to their dissemination in Russia.
