In Kazan, the winners of the 6th annual open republican television festival of creative work of working youth “Our time — Beznen zaman” were announced. The executive secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze participated in the ceremony of awarding the best teams.
The festival “Our Time — Beznen Zaman” has been held in the capital of Tatarstan since 2013 with the support of the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov. The project was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications “Tatmedia”, the republican Association Council of Municipalities, Union of Youth Enterprises and Organizations, Association of Enterprises and Entrepreneurs and the Federation of Trade Unions. The author of the idea and the organizer of the project is the regional youth public organization “Constellation – Yoldyzlyk”.
The mission of the festival is to contribute to the disclosure of the creative talents of young people from 18 to 35 years old, for whom artistic creativity is a hobby. Teams compete in the following nominations: “Musical Direction”, “Dance Direction” and “Minute of Glory”. In addition, they represent the creative “Business Card” of their company. This year more than a thousand young people from 170 organizations and enterprises of Tatarstan took part in the festival.
Speaking about the significance of the festival, the organizers emphasize that its main goal is to show the working man. Within the framework of the festival, master classes in pop art, vocal, choreography, and plastics are organized for participants by famous teachers from Moscow and Kazan.
According to the results of the creative contest, the winners are awarded the challenge cup of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, the Grand Prix winner for the second time in a row was the team of the State Budgetary Institution “Road safety.” The first place in the team event was shared by the teams of “Kazan Helicopter Plant” and “Nizhnekamskneftekhim” .
The award ceremony was traditionally held as part of the final gala concert. On behalf of the leadership of Tatarstan, the participants and spectators were welcomed by Farid Mukhametshin, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan. He stressed: “We are looking for new forms of work with young people, which include student groups and volunteer movement. There are issues that require additional efforts by state and municipal authorities to attract as many young people as possible to all the good deeds that are held in our Republic”.
The year 2019 in Tatarstan has been declared the Year of Workers, as the capital of the Republic will host the World Championship of Workers WorldSkills. Representatives from over 70 countries will come to the republic to compete in 51 competencies. The head of the Tatar parliament expressed the hope that the championship would give a new impetus to the development of a system of training workers.
Farid Mukhametshin read out a greeting from Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, in which it was noted that the festival “Our time — Beznen Zaman” is the center of attraction for creative, initiative and creative young people from all cities and districts of the republic. “It is important that the festival contributes to the popularization of workers and engineering specialties, creates the conditions for full-fledged professional and creative self-realization of working youth. Creative potential, creative energy, striving for perfection and the desire to work for the good of the Motherland will allow us to realize the most ambitious plans”,the message said.
Participants of the festival were also welcomed by the Executive Secretary of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze. He noticed: “Here new stars, new artists are born and brought up, therefore it is very important for the culture of our country. The guys from working youth are turning into creative”. According to Grigoriy Ordzhonikidze, a project called “Our time — Beznen Zaman” is a real brand of Tatarstan, and this experience must be replicated in other regions, and then — through UNESCO — in other countries.
Admittedly, the festival “Our time — Beznen Zaman” makes a significant contribution to the development and realization of the creative potential of working youth, allows you to share experiences, gives new knowledge for professional and personal growth, helps participants to find new friends and like-minded people.
