Rinat Alyautdinov

Biography

Rinat Alyautdinov was born in 1958 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the USSR Foreign Ministry (1981).

In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1981. He occupied various diplomatic positions in the MFA, Embassies of the USSR/Russia in Laos, Singapore, Permanent Mission to the UN Office in Geneva (Switzerland), Permanent Mission to the European Union in Brussels (Belgium). In 2006–2012, Deputy Director of the General Secretariat (Department) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. In 2012–2018, Deputy Permanent Delegate of the Russian Federation to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva. In 2018–2023, Director of the Department of Humanitarian Cooperation and Human Rights of the MFA

In 2023, he was appointed Permanent Delegate of the Russian Federation to UNESCO.

He has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

He speaks English, Chinese, and French.
