The International Youth Day, established in 1999 by a resolution of the UN General Assembly, is celebrated annually on August 12th.
The Russian Federation actively promotes the development of international youth cooperation.
In 2024, our country hosted the World Youth Festival, which was attended by more than 20 thousand people from 190 countries.
We are committed to the further development of youth interaction, in which UNESCO plays an important role.
