UNESCO Deputy Director General to visit St.Petersburg for International Cultural Forum

As reported by press-office of St.Petersburg International Cultural Forum, UNESCO Deputy Director General for Culture, Ernesto Renato Ottone Ramirez, is going to attend the event.

Hosts of the event believes that one of the critical purposes of UNESCO is supporting any governments, institutes, and communities eager for preserving the world heritage, and promoting creative industries and cultural diversity.

Ramirez took up the position of Deputy Director General for Culture in spring 2018. For two years before, he had occupied the office of Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage in the Republic of Chile.

The Forum to be held in St.Petersburg from 15 to 17 November. It is expected to be attended by other representatives of a specialized institution of UN.
